Vision

Right-wing populism is currently one of the greatest sociopolitical challenges in Europe. How to deal with it? What to do about it? Our approach was not only to look at the obvious problems – we wanted to detect underlying narratives, fractures and voids that can be observed on the levels of city, space and society.

Through workshops, educational trips and interface meetings, as well as by accompanying cultural productions, we supported local actors in producing novel cultural formats that counteract right-wing hatred and populist narratives. We worked with new undiscovered narratives by questioning existing narratives and discourses, exploring new and different perspectives, telling stories that make the previously unheard audible and the invisible visible.
