Burattino: Areal Stalburc Gestern – Heute – Morgen

The Burattino is gradually expanding its repertoire to include classics, political plays, workshops, seminars and current socially relevant topics and has broken new ground. We were there alongside the theater and the players.

The initial idea behind the joint project was a production that would bring the stories and fates of the many women who were unjustly imprisoned in Hoheneck back to life and make them visible so that they would not be forgotten.

Together with us, Burattino wanted to take on the challenge of transforming the negative narrative of “Hoheneck women’s prison” without ignoring the often inhumane past.
